human papillomavirus
Papilloma is a benign skin lesion that grows from squamous epithelium. Papillomas, as a rule, have the appearance of warty thickenings on a thin leg of pinkish or brownish color with an elastic consistency. One of the main reasons for the formation of papillomas is human papillomavirus. Papillomas are of viral origin and can be transmitted sexually and non-sexually from person to person.
Papillomas are removed to prevent injury and infection, and in some cases, for aesthetic reasons. With the appearance and growth of skin papillomas, a dermatologist's consultation to resolve the issue of removal is mandatory.
